About the course

This four-hour course aims to provide participants with specific tools to identify risk factors and barriers, and provide them with skills to develop collaborative solutions.

The course will breakdown, explore, and analyse FACTORWEB – the tool recommended by SIRA to be used within the compensation system to identify psychosocial risk factors to recovery and rehabilitation.

This course is a practical step-by-step guide to using FACTORWEB and identifying strategies and solutions to address each risk factor / barrier.

You will learn practical, real-work skills about

  • How and when to use FACTORWEB
  • Developing practical solutions to mitigate the risk factors
  • How to discuss risk factors, barriers, and present solutions in written reports

Participants will discover the importance of identifying risk factors, and developing collaborative and common-sense solutions to assist an injured person return to life, and return to work.
